BJ Farms in Elberta Alabama has a few less strawberries after we visited there today. I think we may have overdone it a bit. We just kept picking and picking and before you know it.......
This is what they did on the way home, THEN had some more after we got home, THEN I made strawberry jam and they ate a ton of that and THEN had belgium waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. Needless to say, nobody seems to want to eat the leftover toppings.
After cleaning and topping all of those berries for hours , making jam, canning preserves and freezing what seemed like a hundred quarts I think I'm over them too. Anybody want some?

Haven't checked your blog for a while because it had been so long since you had been on here. So much fun, berry picking! It's only 55 degrees here so I'm insanely jealous! I remember going to Oregon, as a child, and berry picking at the U-picks. Enjoy!
I want some, I want some!! Wanna drive some of those beauties up here??:)
Heidi, don't be too jealous, soon when it gets up to 95 here, I'll be begging for 55.
and Ren.....there are still more out there just waiting on some Tn folks to pick them!
Well, I've been doing Bikraam yoga to get my heat. The other night it was 114 degrees in the yoga studio and I LOVE it!!! You sweat so much though that it cools you off. Very de-toxifying!!

But our weather is SO nice right now....neener, neener.;) If I'd taken you all to Asheville for a day, you'd be packed and heading up here for good!!
