I have a lawn! I started working on this back in Feb and by July it was looking pretty good but now it is loaded with weeds again. It was a long slow process (especially in a drought) and it's hard enough to grow grass around here but the weed pulling is a full time job. I don't want to use weed killer because the runoff goes into my backyard and I have grandkids that play out there. I'll just keep pulling here and there and see what happens in the spring. Any suggestions?

I have been trying to find native plants to put in various places. You wouldn't think that would be difficult but they are hard to find. This is my favorite and the butterflies and hummingbirds love it too.

Dang! It's looking downright neighborly.
